India's largest floating solar power plant project is being developed in Telangana. The project is being developed by the Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TSREDCO) in collaboration with the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC). The floating solar power plant will be set up on the Ramagundam reservoir in Peddapalli district, Telangana.

The project will have a total capacity of 100 MW and will be spread over an area of about 450 acres. The floating solar panels will be installed on a platform that will float on the surface of the reservoir. The project is expected to generate about 1.5 lakh units of electricity per day.

The project is expected to be completed by May 2021 and will help Telangana to reduce its carbon footprint and meet its renewable energy targets
