23% of a bucket full of diluted milk was water. If the quantity of pure milk in the bucket was 15.4 liter, then the capacity of the bucket was:

Options: [1] 20 liter   [2] 22 liter   [3] 20.9 liter   [4] 19.8 liter

Answer:-      [1] 20 liter

Given,

23% of a bucket full of diluted milk was water

it also says that 77% of bucket  remaining quantity is pure milk

Again it is given that ,the quantity of pure milk in the bucket was 15.4 liter

it means the 77% is equivalent to 15.4 liter

We need to find the value of 100% which is equal to

(15.4/77%).100% = 20 liter

which is the required answer
