अफवाह की चक्की
Sunaina is deeply upset and disturbed by a fake rumour doing the rounds of her school. There have been murmurs about her cheating in maths test held last week. She has always been an outstanding student and would never do such a thing, even her teachers are sure of that. The management has asked the student who started this rumour to come forward. But so far, no one has owned up.
सुनैना अपने स्कूल मे हो रही एक नकली अफवाह से बुरी तरह परेशान है। पिछले हफ्ते आयोजित मैथ्स टेस्ट में उसकी धोखाधड़ी के बारे में बड़बड़ाहट हो रही है। वह हमेशा एक उत्कृष्ट छात्रा रही है और वह कभी ऐसा काम नहीं करेगी, यहाँ तक कि उसके शिक्षक भी उसके बारे में निश्चिंत हैं। प्रबंधन ने इस अफवाह को शुरू करने वाले छात्र को आगे आने के लिए कहा है। लेकिन अभी तक कोई सामने नहीं आया है।
Help Sunaina catch the culprit by going through the statements of people she suspects . The guilty person should be easy to catch as they will try to cover up their action by making things up!

SIYA:- 'Sunaina and I are great friends. I know she was well prepared for this test because we studied for it together . Sunaina helped me understand that a number being multiplied repeatedly is called the base and the number of times that number is multiplied is called the exponent'.

ANNA:- 'Sunaina is my best friend. I would never think of spreading gossip about her! I heard the rumour from another friend in the cafeteria. He told me the person who started it told two people and each of those people told two more people and this continued 5 times . So I am just one of 254 people who heard the rumour '.

TANYA :- ' It's sad that someone is spreading these rumours about her. She once helped me find the area of our dining hall for a school project. We found that it was a perfect square, with sides of 28 ft .Using the formula for area , I knew that 28×28 also equals 28^² , which is 784 sq.ft'.

So there are actually three ways to write 256 . Now , why would someone so smart need to cheat ?'

ARSHIA :- Sunaina is always studying. She even missed any birthday party because she was so busy preparing for the test. She was my partner during biology practical when we studied bacteria. The colony we observed quadrupled in length every 10 minutes. The bacteria was 1mm long when we started the timer . They were 24 mm long after an hour '.

DHRUV:- ' I was able to buy my favourite video game because I had Sunaina's help . It was 350 rupees . She told me to put 3 rupees in my piggy bank and for each day after that to triple the amount of money I had saved the previous day . Well, it worked ! In just five days , I had enough money to buy the game . Sunaina is brilliant with numbers '.
