THE SHORT STORY 

A tourist walks into a hotel ,offers the owner 1000 rupees and says,  'I would like a room, please, and I would like to choose it on my own'.The owner agrees takes the money from him and asks his manager to show him the rooms.The owners then rushes to a nearby restaurant and uses the 1000 rupees to clear his dues.The restaurant owner takes that money, runs to a vegetable seller and pays her to settle his account.The vegetable seller makes her way to the wholesaler to repay the amount she owes him which is, you guessed it,1000 rupees.Now, the wholesaler goes to the same hotel where this chain of events started and pays for a room, for which he didn't have money earlier, with the very same 1000 rupees and clears his dues.After looking at all the free rooms,the tourist takes his thousand rupees back from the hotel owner, saying he did not like any room in the hotel.
